Holger studied Art Direction and Copywriting at MIAMI AD SCHOOL EUROPE in Hamburg. Before he graduated in Communication Design from MERZ AKADEMIE – University of Applied Arts in Stuttgart [Diploma] and the UNIVERSITY OF PORTSMOUTH [M.A.]. He worked at JUNG VON MATT in Stuttgart, JUNG VON MATT in Hamburg, MCGARRYBOWEN in New York and SAATCHI&SAATCHI in LONDON.
Afterwards he went to become Creative Grouphead at BBDO MOSCOW, being responsible for the clients MERCEDES-BENZ, GE MONEY BANK, BRAUN, HENKEL, CREDITMART, TERVOLINA SHOES for about four years.
